Chaldean SC advances to semi finals in the Alan Hall Memorial Cup

 Chaldean Soccer Club of San Diego advances to semi finals in the Alan Hall Memorial Cup of San Diego County Soccer League. The Chaldean SC played its first game which was round of 16 against Bluefoot Albion TDAC at 10:30am Sunday April 27th and defeated them in penalty shots after the end of regulation was a tie 0-0. Even the game was not fully decided after the first 5 shots of penalty kicks as we were successful in scoring 4 of 5 goals. The Bluefoot Albion TDAC thou missed they last shot of the goal to go into extra shots. We were able to score the 6th and 7th shot but the opposition missed its 7th shot giving us the win to advance to round of 8. Here are the players that took the penalty shots:

In the quarter finals the Chaldean SC met SBFC Rangers at 2:00pm and defeated them 2-0 to advance to the semi finals in the Alan Hall Memorial Cup. The game started intensely but within the first 5 minutes of the game, the Chaldean SC was able to score a goal on the foot of left wing Rony Patros with a great thru pass from mid-fielder Salam Baho. The oppositions also had their opportunities but were not able to convert as the goal keeper Hadeer Ascandar had the goal shut. The 2nd goal came of a penalty shot off of the foot of Hadeer Ascandar giving us the 2-0 lead. The penalty was created by our talented forward Anderian Hanna as he was tackled within the penalty box after defeated the defender. The team is looking forward to the quarter finals with great anticipation.
